Abbey Glass & County Contractors – Delivering Premium Mirror Solutions Across the UK

Since 2023, Abbey Glass has developed a strong working relationship with County Contractors, supporting the successful delivery of high-quality commercial fit-out projects across the UK. Built on trust, reliability and exceptional craftsmanship, the partnership has seen Abbey Glass manufacture and supply bespoke mirror solutions for several prestigious developments, including the Marriott Bristol, Marriott Swansea, The Hoxton Shoreditch and Bicester Shopping Village.

Working alongside experienced contractors who demand quality, precision and dependable lead times has enabled Abbey Glass to demonstrate its expertise in bespoke mirror manufacturing on projects where attention to detail is paramount.

Spotlight Project: The Hoxton, Shoreditch

One of the largest collaborative projects to date was The Hoxton, Shoreditch, where Abbey Glass manufactured and supplied a total of 426 bespoke grey mirrors for County Contractors as part of a major refurbishment programme.

Every mirror was manufactured entirely in-house to precise project specifications, ensuring a consistent finish throughout the hotel. The project required careful planning and close communication between both teams to ensure production aligned with the installation programme.

Of the 426 mirrors supplied, 146 required specialist CNC machining. Using technical drawings supplied by County Contractors, Abbey Glass precision-machined each mirror to accommodate integrated lighting features and to allow an additional mirror to be seamlessly fitted onto the face. This level of bespoke manufacturing demanded exceptional accuracy, with every component produced to tight tolerances to ensure a flawless installation on site.

The installation itself was completed by County Contractors over a phased programme running from July through to December 2025, allowing works to progress efficiently while maintaining the highest standards expected within a premium hospitality environment.

A Partnership Built on Trust

The continued relationship between Abbey Glass and County Contractors extends beyond a single project. Since first working together in 2023, the partnership has

contributed to successful deliveries across hospitality and retail developments, including the Marriott Bristol, Marriott Swansea and Bicester Shopping Village.
Each project has reinforced the importance of clear communication, technical expertise and dependable manufacturing. Abbey Glass prides itself on working collaboratively with contractors from initial drawings through to final delivery, ensuring bespoke glass and mirror products are manufactured accurately and delivered on schedule.
By combining advanced CNC machining capabilities with experienced craftsmanship, Abbey Glass continues to support contractors on projects that require bespoke solutions without compromising on quality or lead times.
